Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour with 11:11 AM Safari Tours ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with your booking.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by 11:11 AM Safari Tours
• A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit and issuance of a booking confirmation
• We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion
• Prices quoted are valid for the specified travel dates and are subject to change

3. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking
• Full payment must be received 45 days before the tour departure date
• For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Company: In the unlikely event that we cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accident, trip cancellation, loss of luggage, and emergency evacuation. 11:11 AM Safari Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.

6. Health and Fitness Requirements

• Clients must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking
• Certain activities (such as gorilla trekking) require a reasonable level of fitness
• We reserve the right to decline participation in certain activities if we believe it poses a risk to the client or others
• Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary vaccinations and medical clearances

7. Travel Documents

• Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports (with at least 6 months validity)
• Clients must obtain all necessary visas and permits for their travel
• We can provide assistance with visa applications but are not responsible for visa rejections
• Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are subject to availability and government regulations

8. Liability and Indemnification

• 11:11 AM Safari Tours acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other service providers
• We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party service providers
• Clients participate in all activities at their own risk
• We are not responsible for acts of God, war, civil disturbances, or other events beyond our control
• Our maximum liability is limited to the refund of the tour price paid

9. Wildlife and Photography

• Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed as animals are in their natural habitat
• Clients must follow all park rules and guide instructions for their safety
• Photography must respect local customs and privacy of individuals
• Drone usage may be restricted in certain areas and requires prior permission

10. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries due to weather conditions, political situations, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives of comparable value.

11. Complaints and Disputes

• Any complaints should be reported immediately to your tour guide or our office
• Written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of the tour completion
• Disputes will be governed by the laws of Rwanda
• We will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, civil unrest, or government actions.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to your tour.
